Cale Davis

Cale Davis is a PhD candidate at the Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies within the Leiden Law School in The Netherlands. His research concerns prosecutorial discretion in international criminal justice. Heavily reliant on interview-based and statistical methodologies, he provides new, practical insights into how people execute their legal mandates and the myths underlying them.

He holds an LLB (Hons) and BIR from Bond University, an LLM (Adv) from Leiden University, and a GDLP from the Australian National University. He was previously a Judge’s Associate at the Northern Territory Supreme Court and a Prosecutor with the Northern Territory Director of Public Prosecutions in Australia, and is currently the Managing Editor of the International Organizations Law Review.
